I just got a message from a client I haven't seen in YEARS! I am so grateful.
He wrote: Just a note let you know I am thinking of you and wondering if you ever realize how many lives you have Blessed? It must be a wonderful feeling having your gift....AND more importantly sharing it with so many. Wishing many, many, Blessings..

"As s skeptic of many alternative methodologies, I cannot say enough about your good work. My sessions with you were relaxed, comfortable, and to my astonishment very effective. I frequently give your name to my clients who might want help dealing with the frustrations and challenges of life in the 21st Century."

TESTIMONIAL from a dear client:
"Robin, I like to think that God sends us special friends to share our adventures with. You're one very special lady! That has been put in my path. You're one I truly know and trust: Talk with, Laugh with, Hope with, and Believe with.
You have no idea of how many times I've sent little prayers of thanks for your kindness.
You truly do amazing things with your talents."

When I first learned that Dr Robin Aston had a method for treating anxiety with hypnosis, my first thoughts were of disappointment because we live in different areas of the country. I was surprised when she informed me that we could do the work by telephone.
I didn’t really believe that I would be a good subject for hypnosis, probably because I had no understanding of what hypnosis really is. However, since my condition was at that time and had been for several months one of extreme and debilitating anxiety, I was eager to try anything that might help me. I was virtually unable to leave my home without experiencing unpleasant bouts of anxiety. If I had to go to the grocery store, I would become anxious the night before. If my husband and I planned to drive to another city to have dinner with friends, I would suffer anxiety for days in advance. When we planned a vacation, the anxiety began over a month before our departure date! It was sickening and miserable for me and for my family. My sleep was interrupted, I was irritable and unsociable, and I felt as if my life was unbearable. Having company in my home, talking on the telephone, being in crowds, or in any social situation caused me great emotional pain.
Dr Robin was so easy to work with that she inspired confidence, and I was at ease with her immediately. Her fees were very reasonable, and her flexibility with scheduling my appointments for my convenience was exceptional.
After our first appointment I felt extremely relaxed, but it wasn’t until several days later that I said to myself, “Wait a minute - I’m feeling better. Come on, it couldn’t be the hypnosis!” However, as the weeks passed I couldn’t deny that Dr Robin’s treatment was indeed the source of my improved mood and outlook. As we worked together over the coming weeks, the dread of going out or of having social interaction faded more and more.
Now, more than a year after my treatment was completed, the anxiety has not returned! An additional note - during my treatment my beloved dog was diagnosed with cancer, and subsequently died. Thanks to Dr Robin’s help, I was able to weather that terrible experience without falling apart.
I would like to stress that Dr Robin did not drag the treatment out unnecessarily. As soon as she was confident that I was doing well, she announced that I had graduated and needed no further sessions! It did not take months and months for my condition to improve. It was a matter of weeks. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr Robin Aston wholeheartedly to anyone who suffers from anxiety. She is professional, compassionate, personable, and above all extremely capable in her chosen field.
Thank you Dr Robin! I’ll never forget you

I think that in some ways, exercising self-discipline is harder than ever before.
We're all encouraged to feel something should entertain us before it is worthwhile.
We become brainwashed with messages like:
"Don't do it unless you feel like it!"
"If it feels good, do it!"
"You have to have passion for it!"
Choosing to do something or not based on whether it feels comfortable/pleasurable or not is a disaster.
If I waited to 'feel like it' before exercising or working or making that tricky phone call or putting in the occasional all-nighter to meet a deadline, then I would be fat, poor, untrusted and unsuccessful.
"Don't have a wishbone where your backbone should be!"
